Telly Aerial has now fully closed and is no longer available on the internet.
However there is no need to worry as there are plenty of alternatives to keep yourself informed and updated about the happenings in the world of Digital Terrestrial Television:-
Firstly the official Digital UK website at http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/ is the place to go to find all the official advice from Digital UK.
For regularly updated news and information I have to recommend deeteetee.co.uk, this site also includes a regularly update list of planned engineering works and set top box software download schedules.
For a particularly good overview of the various set top boxes on sale Radio And Telly is a great start - they also have news and information about the Freeview platform.
UKFreeTV offers a wide ranging informative site on the various ways of getting Free TV (and not quite so free tv) in the UK - with transmitter coverage maps, and detailed information on DSO - and transmitter related forums.
Before I go - I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to my site over the years - specific mentions (in no particular order) go out to Timo from Helsinki who's kept me up to date on developments in Finland and Estonia, Ian from Caerphilly who's provided me with a number of useful links and updates in recent months (sorry I never had the chance to use most of them), Mark who's help me spot a number of errors along the way, Steve who provided me with a load of screen shots to upload when he closed his site down (and I've just realised I never got round to uploading - sorry), Dan who kept this site up to date when I left Uni and was waiting for BT to faff around with my shiny new ADSL connection, as well as providing a number of reviews/screenshots over the years. MediaGuy, nwg, edman, Bill88, Thanhuk, technoflare, Rich_JTG, Deangdb5, and Ash who all provided me with screen shots from their STBs, and everyone else who's helped me over the last five years - without whom none of this would have been possible.
